Responsibilities

Develop and execute tailored Comprehensive Field Services Commodity Strategies that align with Business and Regional objectives, focusing on Growth, Resilience, and Cost Efficiency for Global Service Operations
Lead a cross-functional Commodity Circle Team that embodies a “Value Creation” mindset, driving improvements in cost, on-time delivery, quality, and lead times while prioritizing Health & Safety
Provide strategic vision and represent business interests within a global commodity team, acting as a role model for ownership, innovation, and transformation in line with Siemens Energy’s values
Manage commodity structures and provide periodic updates on commodity health to Strategic Procurement leadership and key customers, sharing supplier market intelligence across Siemens Energy
Oversee supplier management, including selection, onboarding, qualification, and performance evaluation, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and field-focused KPIs

Qualification

Required

A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
Over 8 years of experience in commodity or category management, preferably with exposure to Field Services within a global organization
Strong negotiation, strategic sourcing, and complex contract management skills
A deep understanding of cost analysis, market trends, and risk mitigation strategies
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Fluent in English (primary) and German (secondary)
