Postdoctoral Scholar-Pediatrics Behavioral Health

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Neuropsychology Fellow. This two-year fellowship provides advanced training in comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and consultation for children and adolescents with neurological, medical, and developmental conditions.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for pediatric patients with neurological and medical conditions (e.g., epilepsy, TBI, cardiac genetic disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders) in inpatient and outpatient settings
Interpret test results and provide integrated reports with recommendations for medical, educational, and psychosocial planning
Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences (e.g., epilepsy surgery)
Provide feedback to families and collaborate with schools and care teams
Engage in research activities, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination
Contribute to scholarly products (e.g., conference presentations, manuscripts)
Attend didactic seminars and supervision sessions
Mentor interns or practicum students as appropriate
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an APA/CPA-accredited program in clinical psychology
Completion of an APA/CPA-accredited internship with a focus on pediatric neuropsychology
Foundational training in neuropsychological assessment and evidence-based interventions for children and families
Eligible for provisional licensure in Tennessee prior to start date

Preferred

Experience with pediatric medical populations and prior research productivity
