Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a growing team of process engineers to increase ownership and technical excellence on site
Execute engineering and capital projects from concept to completion, including installation, budgeting, and timelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate with Central Engineering in Germany
Drive process improvements by identifying bottlenecks and applying solutions that increase safety, efficiency, and product quality
Support and develop basic PLC integrations and controls in collaboration with automation specialists
Implement best practices in production operations, maintenance support, and operational troubleshooting
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Contribute to the professionalization and growth of the U.S. engineering function
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering (food, pharma, flavors, etc.)
Hands-on project management and installation experience
Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams and owning end-to-end projects
Understanding of industrial automation, robotics, and control theory
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Preferred
Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7, and WinCC
