Responsibilities

Developing design-to-order (DTO) tasks to support customer-specific order requirements
Supporting product care activities, including updates to existing designs
Participating in technical discussions to clarify customer order requirements
Performing 3D design work using NX and Teamcenter
Supporting sheet metal part development activities
Shadowing customer order release activities as part of the DTO team

Required

Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree, or a master's candidate pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
Candidates must be enrolled with the North Carolina State University co-op program and cannot graduate prior to December 2026
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at the Wendell, NC office during the Summer and Fall 2026 semesters
Knowledge of a 3D design software (e.g., SolidWorks)
Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide housing or relocation support
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred

Experience using NX and Teamcenter software for 3D design and product data management
Experience working with large bills of materials
Knowledge of SAP
Willingness to learn and develop within a mechanical design engineering role
Interest in pursuing a mechanical-related career path
