They are seeking a Senior Operational Systems Engineer to apply cybersecurity tactics and improve the efficiency of web-based systems through design, development, and testing of applications.

Responsibilities

Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance

A background in computer science, informational technology, cyber security, cyber forensics, engineering, and other related disciplines

Proven ability to design and develop integrated network solutions using Linux and traditional appliance network devices

3+ years of experience working in software engineering, applications development and/or web application development and deployment

3+ years with Object Oriented Programming such as Python and Ruby

3+ years of experience in full stack development (Javascript, VueJS, NodeJS, Angular, HTML, CSS, etc.)

A strong foundation in Linux, and working in a Linux environment

Strong foundational experience in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMs) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle

Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and maintain technical infrastructure, including AWS Elastic Cloud 2 (EC2), AWS Lambdas, SQS, Apache HTTPD, and more

Familiarity with Restful Web Services
