Asset Specialist
Arrow Components is seeking an Asset Specialist responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for electronic components and MRO services. The role involves supporting sales, procurement, and operations by analyzing customer requirements and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and contractual terms.

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed customer quotations for electronic components (active, passive, electromechanical, semiconductors) and MRO services based on customer specifications, technical requirements, and commercial terms
Determine pricing based on supplier costs, market conditions, lead times, MOQ requirements, and internal margin guidelines
Maintain accurate records of quotes, pricing history, supplier data, and customer requirements in ERP/CRM systems
Ensure compliance with internal policies, customer contracts, quality standards, and export/regulatory requirements
Improve and maintain quotation accuracy while meeting aggressive turnaround and standardization of processes
Quote components and MRO services from approved manufacturers, authorized distributors, and service providers
Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations teams to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies
Communicate quotation details, assumptions, lead times, and validity periods to sales teams and customers as needed
Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternates, lifecycle analysis, and volume pricing
Track quote status, response times, and win/loss data for reporting and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years of experience in quoting, pricing, procurement, or sales support within electronics distribution, EMS, or MRO services
Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM structures, and MRO categories
Familiarity with component lifecycle management, alternates, and obsolescence mitigation
Knowledge of global sourcing and supply chain constraints
Experience with ERP and CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (cost modeling, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
Ability to interpret technical drawings, part numbers, and manufacturer datasheets
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple RFQs simultaneously under tight deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
Experience working with EMS providers, OEMs, or industrial MRO environments is a plus
This role will perform work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)
