HR Assistant Intern

Responsibilities
Assist with preparing onboarding paperwork and new-hire files
Help track onboarding steps to ensure tasks are completed before start dates
Support background checks, drug screenings, and employment verification processes
Enter and update basic employee information in HR systems
Help maintain organized employee records and digital files
Assist with scheduling orientations, meetings, and onboarding sessions
Support the HR team with data entry, filing, and reporting tasks
Answer basic HR-related questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member
Help create a welcoming experience for new employees
Assist during orientations and onboarding sessions as needed
Support HR events, meetings, and team initiatives
Learn and follow HR policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
Assist with updating checklists, templates, and HR documents
Support special HR projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Students or early-career individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in HR operations, employee onboarding, and compliance
Ability to assist with preparing onboarding paperwork and new-hire files
