Responsibilities

Sales Consulting: Engage with customers from problem discovery and need analysis, over portfolio education throughout the entire sales cycle, providing technical guidance to drive opportunities to closure
Opportunity Assessment: Identify, evaluate, and qualify opportunities based on customer budget, technical feasibility, strategic fit, and business value
Solution Engineering: Translate complex customer business requirements into technical specifications, developing high-level architectures that align with customer requirements and Siemens' product portfolio
Solution Validation: Lead proof-of-concept workshops and technical demonstrations to validate solution approaches and demonstrate mobility software capabilities
Thought Leadership: Participation in industry communities, associations (APTA, MobilityData, UITP, etc.), and monitoring of grant programs to identify (funding) opportunities and to contribute to the development of innovations, initiates and industry standards

Qualification

Required

Minimum 5 years of experience in transit technology, solution engineering, or technical sales
Demonstrated experience with SaaS solution design and business understanding
Experience in architecting SaaS solutions, mobility platforms, mobile apps, API integrations, and cloud-based architecture
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., GTFS, GBFS, WCAG, GDPR, etc.)
Fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 20-25%)
