Responsibilities
Coordinate and track completion of title searches for commercial transactions depending on the locality and corporate standards
Properly price commitments, endorsements, policies and guarantees using appropriate schedule of fees and charges
Work cross-functionally with Underwriting to review and approve a variety of documentation including deeds, operating agreements, and corporate resolutions
Responsible for ensuring that all funds are properly accounted for and disbursed in accordance with the terms of the contract
Complete closing by reviewing, recording, and filing documents including preparing and distributing final closing statements and title, ensuring adherence to delivery dates and timelines
Prepare regular reports on the status of the escrow account and provide these reports to the parties involved in the transaction
Prepare legal documents for the closure of the sale
Comply with regulatory requirements by adhering, and enforcing adherence, to requirements
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of commercial title and escrow related experience
Passion for helping customers while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
Proven problem-solving skills with eagerness to learn and share
Understands how to navigate internal and external resources to gather information and resolve questions
Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers; uses various types of communication to meet customer expectations and build relationships
Natural curiosity, enjoys researching the history and background of transactions, analyzing, and evaluating records
Thrives in contributing to a team working together to deliver beyond customer expectations
Knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies
Flexible with the ability to multi-task and handle all aspects of title support
