Chief Accounting Officer

Sure Fintech is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) to join their senior financial management team. The CAO will be responsible for the company's accounting policies, financial accounting, and internal control systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

Management Consulting

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and interpreting the company's accounting policies
Ensuring that the company's accounting practices comply with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., Chinese Accounting Standards, IFRS, US GAAP)
Assessing the impact of new standards and regulations on the company's financial reporting and driving their implementation
Fully responsible for the company's financial accounting system and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of financial reports
Responsible for consolidated financial statements, related party transactions, and complex accounting matters
Establishing and continuously improving the company's internal control and financial compliance system
Promoting the standardization, normalization, and automation of financial processes
Cooperating with internal and external audits to ensure the smooth completion of audit work
Identifying and managing risks related to accounting, financial reporting, and compliance
Supporting corporate governance, the board of directors, and the audit committee
Ensuring that information disclosure is true, compliant, and auditable
Collaborating closely with the CFO, tax, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) teams
Providing accounting support for business operations, investments, mergers and acquisitions, and major transactions
Providing professional accounting judgment and technical support to management
Promoting the development of accounting systems, ERP, and financial digitalization
Optimizing accounting processes to improve efficiency and data quality
Supporting financial shared services and centralized management
Building and leading the accounting and financial reporting team
Cultivating accounting professionals with strong professional judgment and compliance awareness
Creating a rigorous, professional, and high-standard financial culture

Required

Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance, auditing, or a related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent international qualification (ACCA, US CPA) preferred
Over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting
At least 15 years of accounting management experience in large enterprises, listed companies, or multinational corporations
Experience with consolidated financial statements, complex accounting issues, and regulatory disclosures
Accounting standards and professional judgment
Financial reporting and internal control management
Compliance and risk awareness
Cross-functional communication and professional influence
Team leadership and talent development

Preferred

Experience in IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, or major transaction projects
Experience with international accounting standards or cross-border financial management
Experience in financial digitalization or shared services implementation
Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus
