Responsibilities
Define reference integration patterns across SAP and non-SAP systems
Produce integration architectures leveraging expert input
Evolve integration standards to support changing business models
Champion reuse and simplification to reduce custom interfaces
Define and evolve integration KPIs, metrics, and dashboards
Guide teams in selecting the right integration approach
Support monitoring, error handling, and operational aspects of integrations
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
Qualification
Required
11+ years in IT, with at least 5 years in SAP Integration
Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, Integration Suite, API Management, and event-based integrations
Familiarity with hybrid SAP and non-SAP landscapes
Strong skills in designing secure, scalable, and resilient integration architectures
Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions to stakeholders
Understanding of Clean Core-aligned integration and extension approaches
Ability to balance speed, quality, and cost in decision-making
Preferred
Hands-on experience in SAP BTP, API Management, and Integration Suite
Experience guiding engineering teams in shaping shared solutions
Comfortable providing constructive feedback in Architecture Review Board (ARB) sessions
Acts as a trusted advisor/partner to other IS&T teams
