Responsibilities

Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs while maintaining the program architecture for build
Lead and implement manufacturing plans
Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability aligns with requirements
Assist in providing producibility information for project plans and document best practices
Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
Resolve technical problems that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule
Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts
Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems
Implement lean principles and technologies

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
3+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

Preferred

2+ years of engineering experience related to the development, selection, and/or revision of parts, materials, and process specifications for production testing, electrical subsystems, aircraft interiors, and other aircraft systems
2+ years of experience in production planning, including ownership of value stream build plans
Experience with 787 systems, build plans, production testing, electrical installations, and/or aircraft interiors is a plus
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a diverse and demanding work environment and schedule
