Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials as required
Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Assist with inventory control and accurate product tracking
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
Follow all company procedures for material handling and storage
Work in an environment with airborne dust, dirt particles, and varying temperatures
Qualification
Required
Valid forklift operator certification/license
Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or recycling setting
Strong understanding of workplace safety and teamwork
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
Must be able to work in conditions with airborne dust and fluctuating temperatures
Must wear employer-provided PPE and provide your own Knee-high steel toed rubber boots
Maintain alertness, good judgment, and quick reflexes at all times
Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
