DSP Team Leader (ENT)

The Day Services Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily program structure and service delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing staff supervision.

Responsibilities

Assuring the accurate completion of all program documentation requirements according to billing/regulatory standards and time frames
Facilitation of staff, as well as interdisciplinary meetings
Strong communication skills
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple responsibilities
Strong ability to problem-solve independently and with a team
Provide staff supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and Day Services Supervisors
Leading staff performance evaluations in alignment with DSP Core Competencies
Assuring appropriate level-of-care of the program
Providing the direct care responsibilities, including crisis interventions

Required

Bachelor's Degree in any field and 6 months experience in the field
Associates Degree in related field with a minimum of 1-year experience in the field and 6 months supervisory experience in the field
Minimum of 3 years' experience with the IDD population with significant behavioral and/or clinical needs and 1 year of supervisory experience
Internal candidate with at least 2 years' experience in the field and demonstrates capacity for increased responsibility
Strong written and oral communication skills
Possess strong interpersonal skill as well as organizational and planning skills
Experienced in SCIP
Excellent computer skills
Strong problem solving skills
Passionate about the field and demonstrate alignment with the company vision
Must possess a strong knowledge of documentation regulatory requirements
Assess, identify and implement necessary training to support the development of the Direct Support Professionals
Leading staff performance evaluations in alignment with DSP Core Competencies
Promotes customer satisfaction
Supervisory experience
A clean and valid driving record is required to maintain this position
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Be able to walk, bend, squat, turn in the knees, back, wrists and shoulders, and grasp with both hands
Must be able to see and hear with or without correction
Be able to communicate effectively
Have basic computer skills, such data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets
Be able to complete the Agency training programs and successfully pass associated tests to meet competency requirements
Must pass a TB test twice
