Mainframe Manager
JPS Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced Mainframe Manager to lead and support IBM systems in a fully remote environment. The role involves managing mainframe operations, integrating systems, and ensuring optimal performance across hardware and software platforms.

Responsibilities
Lead mainframe operations and oversee IBM system performance
Evaluate company products and competing solutions
Translate high-level strategies into detailed system and network requirements
Design, integrate, and optimize mainframe systems and network interfaces
Establish standards, procedures, and best practices for system development
Monitor system performance and implement tuning for optimization
Install new hardware, systems, and software for network and mainframe operations
Create verification procedures and customer acceptance tests
Serve as a customer liaison to understand needs and support business development
Participate in system design, planning, and documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 11+ years in mainframe systems management
Extensive experience with IBM mainframe products
Strong knowledge of system planning, design, and implementation
Proven experience in system integration, performance evaluation, and verification
Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and supporting business development
Active HUD Public Trust clearance required
