IT Program Manager

PCI Federal is creating a cadre of IT professionals to support the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board. The IT Program Manager will be responsible for customer satisfaction, project planning and management, and coordinating project activities to ensure successful project execution and compliance with the Statement of Work.

Responsibilities

Responsible for customer satisfaction, serves as the single point of contact, compliance with the Statement of Work, project planning and management, resource allocation, and reporting
Identifying project stakeholders, defining project requirements, and managing project timelines
Coordinating with the project team to establish the scope, schedule, budget, and risks
Documenting communication plans, change management plans, and escalation plans
Assisting with team member roles and responsibilities, monitoring team performance, and ensuring that project resources receive the necessary training
Organizing and documenting project meetings, status calls, and coordinating project activities to manage stakeholder expectations
Providing regular project status updates and ensuring that the project management software tools are updated in a timely manner; and
Documenting project outcomes and lessons learned
Leads planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for projects
Facilitates needs assessment and development of recommended project control solutions to be used for planning, scheduling and tracking of each project though integration of various project management tools
Develops project controls and reporting procedures
Assists in the training of the project team on application of the procedure
Analyzes project progress/costs and assists with development and evaluation of alternatives when the project falls behind schedule or exceeds budget
Develops and delivers presentations to customer management. Integrates specific industry methodologies to appropriate project management solutions

Required

Minimum of 2 years of experience within information system project-oriented environments
Possesses a thorough understanding of the process requirements and provide both technical and management oversight of the project
Proficient in client relationship management
Must be available to work onsite Monday-Thursday

Preferred

Experience in IT project management with ServiceNow applications
