Responsibilities
Greet guests and explain specials & promotions
Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system
Verbally communicate to server the table number sat and the number of guests
Escort guests to tables, hand them menus, wine list, and inform guests of specials
Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return
Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments
Maintain self-banking procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager
Qualification
Required
Prior food, beverage, cash handling and hospitality experience preferred
Innate desire to serve and ability to maintain service and departmental standards
Basic knowledge of food & beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
Learn table settings, service ware, and menu items
Proficient in English for menu comprehension, recording orders, and guest communication
Recall and promote menu items
Maintain professional demeanor and clean uniform
