EEO and ADA Compliance Analyst
Pierce County is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, and they are seeking an EEO and ADA Compliance Analyst to support their compliance programs. In this role, you will conduct investigations of EEO complaints, facilitate the ADA interactive process, and provide guidance on compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Responsibilities
Conduct intake for discrimination, harassment, and retaliation complaints; gather initial information and assess jurisdiction
Independently investigate EEO complaints of routine or moderate complexity, including interviewing parties and witnesses, reviewing documents, analyzing facts, evaluating policy compliance, and drafting written findings
Assist the EEO/ADA Officer with complex or sensitive investigations, including background research, interview support, and document review
Maintain accurate and confidential investigative files; track deadlines to ensure timely case movement
Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on the complaint process, County policy, Reasonable Accommodation, EEO/ADA compliance, and Protected Leave
Facilitate ADA-related interactive process meetings for accommodation requests of routine to moderate complexity
Review and evaluate medical documentation, job descriptions, and functional limitations; recommend potential accommodation for Officer review as appropriate
Prepare accommodation summaries, correspondence, and follow-up documentation
Coordinate protected leave matters to ensure consistent interpretation and compliant implementation of overlapping ADA and leave obligations
In coordination with the EEO/ADA Officer, review and resolve cases where leave limitations, intermittent leave, extended medical leave, or return-to-work restrictions intersect with disability accommodations
May provide backup coverage for the Leave Specialist during absences
Track timelines, follow-up needs, and coordination points when ADA and FMLA/ADA intersections occur
Assist in developing and updating EEO/ADA and protected leave policies, guidelines, templates, and standardized practices
Coordinate, prepare, and deliver training on nondiscrimination, harassment prevention, ADA, and protected leave processes independently or jointly with the EEO/ADA Officer
Maintain databases and case management systems for EEO complaints, ADA accommodations, and related matters
Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for proactive intervention
Assist the EEO/ADA Officer with required external reporting (e.g., EEOC, ADA compliance updates)
Qualification
Required
Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience in EEO and ADA compliance, or a closely related human resources or legal field, including experience conducting investigations, analyzing data, and providing recommendations
Postsecondary education may substitute for up to two (2) years of the required experience on a year-for-year basis
