Responsibilities

Driving Sales & Building Relationships: You’ll lead the charge in generating new business, working with warm and hot leads, and cross-selling insurance products to meet client needs. Your goal will be to expand the agency's client base and grow its book of business
Networking & Community Engagement: Whether through community events, networking, or client referrals, you’ll play a key role in building strong relationships within the community. You'll become a trusted resource for clients and prospects alike
Cross-Selling & Client Care: You’ll be identifying opportunities to cross-sell Life & Health policies to existing Property & Casualty clients and vice versa. While this role involves limited customer service, you’ll ensure clients are well taken care of and receive the right coverage
Collaborative Team Environment: While you’ll have the freedom to manage your own sales, you'll also be part of a tight-knit team. The office has a small business feel—where collaboration, team spirit, and support from the agency owner are key to your success
Agency Growth & Success: As the Sales Leader, you'll contribute directly to the growth of the agency by bringing in new clients and building lasting relationships. Your efforts will help shape the future of the agency

Required

Sales Experience: Whether you're experienced in insurance or another sales field, we're looking for someone with a passion for sales and helping people find the best insurance solutions
Self-Starter with Team Mindset: You should be motivated to achieve your sales goals, but also someone who enjoys collaborating with others in a team-oriented environment
Strong Communicator: You'll need excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and explain insurance products in an easy-to-understand way
Networking Enthusiast: If you enjoy connecting with others and building relationships, you'll thrive in this role. Networking is essential for expanding the agency's client base
Goal-Oriented: We're looking for someone who enjoys setting goals and achieving results, all while contributing to the agency's success
Tech-Savvy: Comfort with using CRM tools and managing digital communication will help you succeed in this role

Preferred

Licensed Insurance Agent: Active P&C and L&H insurance licenses for Kansas are preferred. Not required
