Responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
Oversee general ledger, revenue recognition, accruals, and balance sheet integrity in a fast-growth environment
Build and enhance accounting processes and internal controls to support company scale and complexity
Partner cross-functionally with Korean headquarters, external accountants and internal teams
Drive continuous process improvement to shorten close cycles and improve reporting accuracy
Support ERP optimization, reporting enhancements, and system integrations within SAP
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people leadership
Experience operating in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, or evolving organization
Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, data analysis)
Hands-on SAP experience required
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proven experience managing audits and working with external auditors
Preferred
Experience in consumer products, beauty, cosmetics, or lifestyle brands
Background in scaling accounting functions for growing companies
Experience with inventory, cost accounting, and multi-entity structures
