Prevailing Wage_Davis Bacon Payroll Senior Specialist (Remote or Hybrid)

The Prevailing Wage Support Associate supports the enforcement of prevailing wage laws on public and federally funded projects by reviewing certified payrolls and assisting with audits.

Responsibilities
Review certified payrolls for accuracy and completeness
Track contractor and subcontractor compliance with wage and apprenticeship standards
Maintain organized records of wage documentation and affidavits
Assist in conducting site visits and wage interviews
Support audits of payroll records and job classifications
Help investigate potential non-compliance issues
Provide guidance to contractors and subcontractors on wage reporting requirements
Attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings to explain compliance expectations
Communicate wage rate updates and documentation procedures
Prepare summaries of findings and assist in drafting compliance reports
Maintain up-to-date logs of wage determinations and correspondence
Support the submission of reports to regulatory agencies when needed
Qualification
Required
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in payroll, compliance, or public works preferred
Knowledge: Familiarity with prevailing wage laws such as the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) or state-specific regulations is preferred but not required
Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic proficiency in Excel or compliance tracking tools. LCP Tracker experience a plus
