Responsibilities
Manages, develops, and motivates employees performing engineering activities within a 24/7 Customer Support organization
Oversees the development and validations of Boeing Manuals such as: Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Fault Isolation Manual (FIM)
Ensures coordination with design, to drive quality into documents
Oversees and manages work share partners
Develops and carries out project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals
Has strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
Provides technical guidance to resolve engineering issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
5+ years of experience in the airline/aerospace industry
Preferred
5+ years of experience with commercial airplanes or commercial derivatives
2+ years of experience leading an engineering team
Ability to embrace change, lead continuous improvement, and treat safety and quality as top priorities
Experience in maintenance operations
Experience leading complex projects
Knowledge of industry trends (customers, regulators, competitors, etc)
Thrives with managing ambiguity and turning it into action
