Responsibilities
Assist with setting up and running production equipment, including corrugated presses, gluing and folding machines, strappers, band saws, and a slitter
Uphold quality specifications for packaging materials from first piece to final pack-out
Support rapid, accurate changeovers to keep schedules on track
Work closely with teammates to improve processes and throughput
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve them quickly to minimize downtime
Qualification
Required
Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting ability
Background in packaging or press/converting operations
Strong shop math and accurate tape-measure reading
Reliable attendance with a history of long-term employment
Comfort working in a fast-paced, production environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet all physical requirements
Basic computer skills for production inputs and checks
Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed
