Required

3-8 years in growth / developer marketing / PLG / DevRel / B2B SaaS, preferably with API/developer platform/AI or data products
Familiar with developer growth playbooks: GitHub growth, open-source templates, technical content, community operations, Product Hunt/HN/Reddit posting strategies
Can articulate technical value clearly (don't need to be an engineer, but must understand API/SDK/docs and communicate selling points effectively)
Strong results orientation: can break down goals into actionable steps and rhythm, independently execute 0→1 GTM
Data analysis and experimentation mindset: funnel analysis, retention, cohorts, channel ROI, A/B testing
Strong external communication and collaboration skills: work with engineering/product/BD/content teams and interface directly with external partners
Understanding of 'how developers make decisions': value usability, documentation, examples, reliability, pricing transparency, troubleshooting efficiency
Can independently drive 0→1 GTM: set goals, establish rhythm, create assets, run channels, analyze data, iterate continuously
Familiar with and can execute growth on HN/Reddit/X/GitHub: title/narrative/comment engagement/secondary distribution/anti-spam rules
Can write clear technical product value (English content capability preferred): landing pages, comparison pages, quickstarts, release notes, use case articles
Can create 'reusable assets': at minimum, can drive production and maintenance of demos, template repos, notebooks; can work with engineering to productize demos
Proficient with analytics tools (GA4/Mixpanel/Amplitude/Looker/Metabase) for funnels, retention, cohorts, channel attribution
Experimentation design capability: hypothesis → experiment design → launch → analysis → conclusion → scale; understanding of statistical significance/sample bias preferred
SQL/basic scripting for ad-hoc analysis is a plus
Can collaborate efficiently with product/engineering: translate 'growth requirements' into executable product requirements (PRDs/issues/acceptance criteria)
Strong project management: deliver complete loops of 'launch assets + channel activation + data retrospective' within 2-week sprints
Strong ownership and execution: accountable for results, can self-drive to secure resources and push forward in uncertainty

Preferred

Experience with AI applications/agents or influence in developer communities
Open-source project operations experience (star, fork, issue, PR growth)
Experience with API pricing, free tier quotas, anti-abuse/risk control growth strategies
International growth experience (English content and overseas channels)
Experience with GTM or growth for API platforms / data platforms / billing/metering / quota/rate limiting products
Built AI applications, RAG, agents, FinAI, or contributed to related communities (open source, articles, talks)
International experience (overseas developer communities, English writing, timezone collaboration)
