Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lead Program Management Specialist to join their Experimental Systems Group (ESG) in Seal Beach, CA. The role involves leading an Integrated Product Team to develop new electronic units for space vehicles, managing project development from initial studies through to demonstration, and serving as a core point of contact for customers.

Responsibilities

Lead development of electronic units
Support technology integration for and development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions
Develop and present review packages to internal and external senior leadership
Work proactively and independently in a fast-paced, demanding atmosphere
Manage project development and design from early capabilities studies through demonstration

Required

Experience in systems engineering to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system solutions
Experience in engineering project planning, project management, or program management
This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program

Preferred

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Minimum 10 years of systems engineering experience
Minimum 6 years of project management experience
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers
Experience in spacecraft, launch vehicles, or highly autonomous unmanned systems
