Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of 10+ electricians / technicians
Assign daily work, track progress, and resolve build issues
Ensure electrical builds follow drawings, standards, and best practices
Act as the go-to person for electrical build questions on the floor
Oversee control panel wiring and field cabling
Review and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical layouts, and pneumatic drawings
Ensure correct installation of sensors, motors, drives, safety devices, and I/O
Maintain 5S standards and organized work areas
Plan daily and weekly electrical build activities
Track build progress, timelines, and open issues
Coordinate tools, measuring equipment, and consumables
Ensure full material kitting is available before build starts
Support system integration and electrical checkout
Participate in ATP / functional testing
Use standard test equipment (multimeter, megger, cable tester, HV tester)
Document test results and validate system performance
Ensure builds meet quality standards and safety requirements
Maintain assembly, test, and validation reports
Prepare basic reports using Microsoft Word / Office
Drive a “first-time-right” build approach
Enforce PPE and standard electrical safety practices
Ensure compliance with shop and customer safety norms
Oversee dismantling, packing, and dispatch of systems
Ensure proper rigging, packing, and shipping procedures are followed
Coordinate with mechanical, controls, quality, and project teams
Communicate build status, risks, and completion timelines clearly
Support installation and commissioning at customer sites as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electro-Mechanical / Instrumentation / Controls
4–5+ years hands-on experience in electrical build within industrial automation
Strong experience with control panel wiring and field cabling
Proven experience leading or supervising electrical teams
Ability to read and work from electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings
Experience with industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Material Handling Conveyor Systems
Gantry systems
Hands-on experience with robot controllers: + ABB + Fanuc + KUKA
Exposure to motion control and robotic integration
