Advise County departments and officials on civil legal matters and risk management
Represent the County in litigation, appeals, and administrative proceedings

Attend public meetings and provide real-time legal guidance
Train County staff on legal compliance, ethics, and records management
Collaborate with outside counsel and insurers on complex litigation
You are willing to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call when necessary
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in Idaho (or ability to obtain licensure quickly)
3+ years of relevant civil legal experience, preferably in government or public sector
Eligible to practice in all Idaho state and federal courts
Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid driver's license and be insurable
