Responsibilities
Platform Development and Optimization : Contribute to the architecture, design, integration, and support of platform and infrastructure environments across build, integration & test, and production stages. Focus on performance, reliability, and scalability in cloud-based ecosystems
Best Practices and Automation : Enhance scalability, consistency, and infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management processes
Cross-Team Collaboration : Collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and agile development teams to design and implement resilient, scalable platform solutions
Security and Compliance Integration : Embed security and compliance measures (e.g., encryption and access management) into the platform
Operational Support : Provide ongoing operational support to maintain platform stability, functionality, and performance
Qualification
Required
Degree: BS/BA in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics
Experience: 5+ years of related work experience
RedHat Linux Expertise: Proven experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of RedHat Linux operating systems
Cloud Infrastructure Development: Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms in designing, implementing, and integrating cloud-based systems
Automation Tools: Proficiency with frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef to streamline infrastructure deployment and management
Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation, configuration, and system operations
IAT Level II Certification: Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II requirements (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent)
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (required on day 1). U.S. citizenship is required

Cloud Platform Expertise: Experience with AWS, including EC2, EKS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC, focused on secure and scalable deployments
Containerization: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman for platform infrastructure services
CICD Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab, and Helm for CI/CD pipelines
Scanning Tools: Familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., Nessus)
COTS/FOSS: Experience with installation, configuration, and integration of COTS and Free and Open Source Software products
