SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST - ALTERNATE HIRING AUTHORITY

Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the Intelligence Division
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Oversee a team of 8 mixed AFSC personnel, including intel, Security, and IT professionals
Serve as a subject matter expert on Intelligence issues. Represent the Intelligence Directorate in a variety of organizational, departmental, and functional forums and tasks. Advise on the status of intelligence resources and programs, trends, and issues associated with the provision of intelligence support to the acquisition enterprise
Oversee intelligence functional management, intelligence operations, customer support services, and Special Security Office (SSO) activities. Responsible for management of Air Base Wing (ABW) intelligence support, Special Compartmented Information (SCI) programs, and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS)

U.S. Citizenship Required
All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period
Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed
If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement
This posn is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program
Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide
Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing

Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications
Preferred
An advanced degree (in intelligence, management/leadership, or engineering/science) is desirable
