Technical Growth Marketing & Marketing Operations Manager
Purpose is an AI-powered personal growth mentoring app designed to help individuals make better decisions and live aligned lives. The role focuses on hands-on technical growth marketing and marketing operations, emphasizing execution, experimentation, and management of paid media campaigns.
Responsibilities
Execute rapid growth experiments across paid media, landing pages, onboarding, and lifecycle flows
Build and optimize landing pages and experiments in WordPress
Support creative testing workflows and ensure clean implementation across channels
Actively manage a portion of our paid media campaigns across Meta, Google and other paid channels
Support campaign setup, optimization, and iteration
Implement testing frameworks across creative, audiences, and campaign variations
Monitor performance and flag insights, risks, or opportunities
Own day-to-day marketing operations across the growth stack, including WordPress, Customer.io, Appsflyer, paid media platforms, and analytics tools
Ensure campaigns, integrations, and tracking are implemented correctly and remain healthy over time
Support attribution, tracking, and event instrumentation in partnership with Growth and Engineering
Troubleshoot technical issues across platforms, integrations, and data pipelines
Work hands-on in Customer.io to support technical lifecycle execution, including event triggers, integrations, flow setup, and QA
Support mobile attribution and performance tracking through Appsflyer, ensuring data accuracy across channels
Assist with lifecycle and attribution system hygiene tied to product, billing, and subscription events
Support onboarding and setup of new platforms for creators, influencers, social media management, and analytics
Monitor the ongoing health and usage of marketing tools and vendors
Flag issues, inefficiencies, or data gaps and work with partners to resolve them
Maintain a clear operational view of the marketing stack and key systems
Provide regular readouts to the Growth team on platform health, tracking integrity, and operational risks
Share paid media performance updates and operational insights as part of broader growth readouts
Act as an executional bridge between Growth, Product, Creative, and Engineering
Help document systems, experiments, and workflows to improve speed and consistency
Take ownership of execution details so the Growth team can focus on insight and direction
Qualification
Required
3–5 years in technical growth marketing, marketing operations, or performance marketing execution
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on paid media management experience, specifically managing campaigns in Meta and Google
Hands-on experience working directly inside growth and marketing tools (not just managing agencies)
Experience supporting attribution, experimentation, and analytics across multiple platforms
Strong technical fluency across marketing, growth, and analytics systems
Comfortable working in WordPress, paid media platforms, CDPs/CRMs, and MMPs
High attention to detail with strong QA and monitoring instincts
Able to communicate system health and performance clearly to the broader team
Thrives in fast-moving, test-and-learn environments
Preferred
Experience managing paid media on additional platforms (e.g. TikTok, YouTube, programmatic DSPs, Apple Search Ads)
Experience with subscription apps or consumer SaaS
Familiarity with Customer.io, Appsflyer, GA4, PostHog, RevenueCat, or similar tools
Prior experience supporting creator, influencer, or social media platforms
