The State of Florida's Office of the State Attorney is seeking a Legal Assistant I to support the Misdemeanor Division. The role involves general secretarial duties such as maintaining case files, data entry, and various administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

General secretarial duties include the maintenance of case files; entry of case report data into STAC (internal case tracking database); logging of files; a variety of secretarial tasks, including but not limited to, uploading informations, requests for certified copies of convictions, word processing of correspondence, appointment letters and scanning. The successful candidate will demonstrate superior organizational skills, flexibility, and a willingness to perform additional duties as requested

Required

A high school diploma or equivalency
One year of secretarial/clerical experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Demonstrate superior organizational skills
Flexibility and a willingness to perform additional duties as requested

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
