The Swiss CNC Set-Up Technician is responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and supporting Swiss-type CNC machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality medical components.

Responsibilities
Set up and change over Swiss CNC machines according to job specifications
Load programs, set tooling, adjust offsets, and perform first-piece inspections
Troubleshoot machining and process issues to maintain quality and uptime
Monitor production runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications
Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and inspection documentation
Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, comparators, etc.)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with GMP and FDA requirements
Collaborate with operators, engineers, and quality personnel to support continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Prior experience setting up Swiss CNC machines
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Experience using precision measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Medical manufacturing experience
Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments (ISO, FDA, GMP)
