Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for toll operations and performance monitoring
Collaborate with database and toll teams to connect data sources, ensure data integrity, and streamline reporting
Perform daily/weekly monitoring and advanced analysis of lane performance reports and dashboards
Conduct hyper-care monitoring of new and upgraded lanes; provide guidance on performance issues
Perform basic and advanced lane/plaza fault isolation and third-level support for roadside servers, databases, and software
Investigate operational, financial, and maintenance anomalies; perform root cause analysis and prepare executive summaries
Oversee the setup and monitoring of new lane system installations and upgrades
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for SunWatch and other monitoring systems
Coordinate with internal vendors and escalate critical incidents to ensure timely resolution
Identify gaps in existing processes, recommend improvements, and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting quality
Mentor and guide junior analysts in Power BI, data modeling, and toll operations analysis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent work experience
12+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, and analytics, with strong proficiency in Power BI
Extensive experience in data modeling, dashboard design, and performance optimization
Advanced Power BI skills: report development, DAX, Power Query, and complex data modeling
Deep knowledge of toll lane theory of operation and advanced troubleshooting techniques
Proficiency in Linux commands, server support, and network/system management tools (e.g., CA Unicenter, Orion)
Strong SQL query skills for complex data extraction and analysis
Advanced Excel skills: macros, Visual Basic, Pivot Tables; plus proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills for trend identification, root cause analysis, and executive reporting
Experience leading teams, mentoring analysts, and driving process improvements
Preferred
Familiarity with tolling or transportation systems preferred
