Responsibilities
Perform advanced and complex criminal or civil investigations of alleged insurance law violations by insurance producers and companies
Conduct on-site investigations, interviewing policyholders and insurance company representatives to gather information
Resolve complaints and coordinate with peer divisional staff and law enforcement
Prepare summaries, findings, and recommendations based on the information gathered and analyzed for each case
Determine the course and scope of investigations and use independent judgement in carrying out assignments
Research records and laws, prepare strategies for interviews, and interpret and apply insurance laws and regulations
Qualification
Required
Four years of professional experience in criminal, civil, or administrative investigation work, and a bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
