Responsibilities
Leads a team comprised of various engineering disciplines (electrical optical, mechanical and systems), which may include internal and external resources and customers
Implements design best practices and processes based on system architecture requirements
Develops tests SOWs to validate system architecture requirements
Works with suppliers and partners to ensure compliance to requirements
Coordinates with customer to define key requirements and project objectives
Supports project management by providing coordinating development of work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and conducting appropriate reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Experience in all stages of development including systems engineering, system & subsystems design and development, system integration, modeling and simulation, and test/verification
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. • 120.62 is required. 'U.S. Person' includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Preferred

Active Top Secret clearance
Masters Degree in Optics, Controls, or Electrical Engineering
Experience with advanced optical systems requirements decomposition and/or product design, testing and integration
