Responsibilities
Serve as the key point of contact to the Professor of Military Science (PMS) regarding the administration of the Cadet ROTC program
Assist applicants/selectees in preparation of enrollment and contract documents for the program
Monitor pay reports for proper payments to the universities/schools
Provide staff assistance in all areas of supply and logistics management
Assist organization by coordinating with the university to schedule and coordinate various facilities for events
Qualification
Required
One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Supply, etc
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%
Your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job
Specialized experience at the GS-06 level is defined as: Operating automated software programs to prepare charts and/or reports; assisting the organization with supply and logistics support such as supplies, regulatory changes, budgets and/or expenditures; AND supporting applicants with academic processes such as scholarship payments and enrollment documents
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06)
You must provide a copy of your transcripts
If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration
You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship
One year trial/probationary period may be required
Direct deposit of pay is required
Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees
