NOOK Event Pods® by The Deondo Company is seeking a Business Development professional to help grow their presence in the event industry. The role involves selling event sponsorships and building relationships with event management companies and corporations, while working remotely.

Help grow the business by selling event sponsorships and booth rentals
Build internal relationships and develop a client base in a target-rich industry
Travel throughout North America for marketing events where NOOK Event Pods® are represented

Required

Experience selling event sponsorships, booth rentals or vendor sales background to event management companies and corporations
Self-motivated, remote sales professional
Ability to build internal relationships
Focus on developing a client base in a target rich industry
Professional in closing sales
History of building relationships with the client base
Knowledge of event show management operations and organizations, General Service Contractors and Event Planning companies
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills
Experience in forecasting a sales funnel
English speaker

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree
2nd language desired
Located in the Orlando or Washington, DC area
