Responsibilities
Perform production assembly operations, system analysis, testing, and performance optimization
Troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, or software issues in non-functioning test equipment
Analyze test results to determine pass/fail criteria and provide corrective solutions
Build, integrate, and understand the full assembly process for production instruments
Execute functional and release testing on moderately complex instruments
Identify defects and recommend design or process improvements
Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards
Train and support associates on testing and mechanical activities as needed
Process and disposition Quality Notifications (QNs)
Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing teams
Maintain compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
Perform material handling for raw materials and sub-assemblies
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
OR Associate's Degree (AA) with relevant technical skills
3.5+ years of manufacturing experience (or equivalent technical education)
Experience testing moderately complex instruments
Ability to read drawings, measure dimensions, and use mechanical tools (torque drivers, gauges, etc.)
Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills
Basic proficiency with PCs and Windows-based systems
Ability to manage multiple production orders and changing priorities
Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support team members
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles
