IT Support Associate

Unity Hospice is a family-owned and operated hospice dedicated to providing personalized care for patients and their families. They are seeking an IT Support Associate to provide technical support in a Windows environment, troubleshoot common IT issues, and assist users in an onsite office setting.

Responsibilities

Independently respond to and resolve IT support tickets, addressing common hardware, software, and user issues
Perform Windows-based troubleshooting with experience resolving login issues, application errors, network/connectivity problems, printing issues, and general end-user support needs
Configure and set up devices, including Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals (experience preferred but not required)
Create, manage, and troubleshoot user accounts, including password resets and access permission updates
Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including device setup, account provisioning, and access configuration
Maintain IT documentation, update inventory, and follow internal procedures based on hands-on experience
Provide in-office technical support, helping staff with day-to-day technology needs
Escalate advanced or complex issues to senior IT personnel after performing standard troubleshooting steps

Required

Prior hands-on experience providing technical support or help desk assistance
Windows troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing common user, application, and hardware issues
Strong customer service and communication abilities
Ability to follow processes, document work, and work independently when needed
Communication skills: 2 years (Required)
Software troubleshooting: 2 years (Required)
IT support: 2 years (Required)

Preferred

Experience with device configuration or imaging
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration or similar cloud platforms
Understanding of account management, permissions, or provisioning tools
Help desk: 2 years (Preferred)
