Communications Strategist
Massachusetts Institute of Technology is seeking a Communications Strategist to lead writing, messaging, and digital communications that advance the Press’s fundraising and overall communications priorities. Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
a minimum of three years of communications experience
exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
familiarity with social media and digital communications tools
comfort working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
familiarity with social media platforms, basic analytics, and content production
collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn Press-wide systems and operations
Preferred
Publishing and/or higher education experience
grant-writing experience
advanced degree in relevant field
