Responsibilities
Serve as the technical and administrative supervisor over the Equipment Maintenance Division, Directorate of Production Engineering
Determine the internal plan to be followed by subordinate supervisors in applying these resources to effectively accomplish work operations
Collaborate with higher level management in developing changes in work techniques and standards; revision of organization structures for improvement of facility layout and workflow
Assign work to subordinates and set deadlines with instructions
Review and analyze production, cost, and personnel utilization records to evaluate progress of work and to control or reduce costs
Evaluate subordinates performance appraisal and recommend for promotion and/or additional trainings needed to meet the competencies
Qualification
Required
Ability to do the work of an INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR without more than normal supervision
Ability to perform as technical and administrative supervisor exercising full supervisory responsibilities in the operations of managing equipment maintenance and repair services for industrial production equipment in support of depot maintenance programs and projects
Ability to plan weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates
Ability to explain work requirements, methods, and procedures and provide advice when problems arise
Ability to develop performance standards, counsel employees on performance, and make formal and informal performance appraisals
Ability to meet deadline dates under pressure
Ability to plan and organize work
Ability to supervise through subordinate supervisors
Ability to work with others
Ingenuity (Ability to suggest and apply new methods)
Knowledge of different relevant lines of work
