NEOGOV is seeking a highly organized and analytical individual for the position of Legal Office Administrator to support the Office of Chief Counsel in the Department of Corrections. The role involves providing high-level administrative and management support, including overseeing litigation matters and coordinating arbitration schedules.

Responsibilities

Support the management and day-to-day operations of the office, including the assignment, tracking, and oversight of litigation matters
Serve as the Disability Benefits Arbitration Docketing Coordinator, responsible for developing arbitration schedules; coordinating with involved parties to schedule cases; issuing notices; and reserving necessary rooms and equipment
Provide litigation and general administrative support to the Chief Counsel and staff attorneys

Required

Two years of varied office management or staff work within a public or private legal office
At least two years of experience using Microsoft Word

At least one year of experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro
At least one year of experience answering phones and processing mail
Must be able to perform essential job functions
Must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
