Events & Partnerships Manager

The Events & Partnerships Manager will own the end-to-end process of partnerships and event execution, ensuring high-quality experiences and building relationships with tier-1 sponsors.

Responsibilities

Build and manage relationships with tier-1, brand-sensitive sponsors and startup-facing platforms
Source, pitch, and close sponsors seeking meaningful access to the startup community
Position partnerships around access, alignment, and long-term value
Own sponsor relationships, agreements, and deliverables end to end
Convert one-time sponsors into repeat partners across multiple events
Ensure sponsor participation is additive, tasteful, and aligned with the community
Own attendee sourcing end to end, with a strong bar for founder and decision-maker quality
Build and maintain a pipeline of early-stage founders and decision-makers
Partner with sponsors and platforms on curated distribution when appropriate
Maintain a high signal-to-noise ratio across attendance and conversations
Partner closely with the founding team to plan and execute each event
Source and procure venues aligned with the experience bar and brand
Own all day-of event operations, including run-of-show, timelines, and on-site coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for venues, vendors, sponsors, and attendees during events
Resolve issues in real time and keep the experience running smoothly
Coordinate post-event wrap-up, including sponsor follow-through and deliverables

Required

Experience running high-quality events
Experience working with tier-1 sponsors
Ability to own the full lifecycle from relationship-building through day-of execution
Experience sourcing venues
Experience securing premium partners
Ability to drive high-caliber attendance
Experience running events on the ground
Ability to create high-trust, curated experiences
Ability to deliver a minimum of two curated events per month
Ability to attract premium, tier-1 sponsors
Ability to curate rooms with founders and decision-makers
Ability to build repeat sponsor relationships rooted in trust
Ability to execute events that feel exclusive, seamless, high-touch, and well run
Ability to build and manage relationships with tier-1, brand-sensitive sponsors
Ability to source, pitch, and close sponsors
Ability to position partnerships around access, alignment, and long-term value
Ability to own sponsor relationships, agreements, and deliverables end to end
Ability to convert one-time sponsors into repeat partners

Operated in high-trust, brand-sensitive environments where reputation matters
Existing sponsorship partners on digital speed-dial
