They are seeking a Transportation Roadway Design Engineer, EIT to support the planning and design of roadway and transportation infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists.

Responsibilities
Assist with the design of highway, arterial, and local roadway improvements
Develop roadway geometry, signing, pavement marking, traffic signal, and maintenance of traffic plans
Prepare roadway 3D models using applicable design software
Develop quantity calculations and engineer’s cost estimates
Conduct site visits to support data collection and the design process
Prepare alternative evaluation studies, technical memoranda, and similar reports
Collaborate with project teams and technical specialists to support project delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Entry-level to up to five (5) years of relevant transportation or roadway design experience
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a transportation focus
Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D
EIT certification with intent to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
Prior internship or consulting experience in transportation or roadway design
