Responsibilities

Leads hospital-wide accreditation initiatives in partnership with senior leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards
Manages all aspects of accreditation and regulatory readiness, serving as the primary liaison to accrediting bodies and overseeing survey preparation, execution, and follow-up
Continuously monitors changes in federal, state, and local regulations impacting behavioral health services, ensuring proactive compliance and sustained survey readiness
Identifies regulatory risk areas and collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to implement effective corrective actions that drive continuous improvement
Serves as a subject matter expert on accreditation standards, providing guidance on interpretation, application, and ongoing monitoring across departments
Supports the development and analysis of performance metrics, data collection systems, and quality outcomes to inform accreditation strategy and operational excellence
Performs other related duties assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives

Required

Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, or a related field
5 years of experience in healthcare accreditation, regulatory affairs, or quality management, preferably in behavioral health
Deep knowledge of TJC Behavioral Health Care & Human Services standards, CMS Conditions of Participation, and state licensing regulations

Preferred

Master's Degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, or a related field
Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), accreditation (HACP), or quality (CPHQ) is preferred
