Human Resources Business Partner - Kentucky

The HR Business Partner will manage daily HR operations, support plant leadership, and ensure alignment with organizational goals while fostering a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
Execute effective recruitment strategies in collaboration with the General Manager, HR Manager, and plant leadership
Source, interview, and onboard qualified candidates to ensure a seamless and positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring process
Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation sessions to ensure a smooth onboarding process
Provide new employees with information on company policies, procedures, benefits, and culture
Facilitate initial training sessions and introduce new hires to their teams and work environment
Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Handle employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits
Maintain and update payroll systems as needed
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries
Ensure compliance with benefits policies and regulations
Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing support for employee benefits-related issues
Serve as a point of contact for employees with HR-related questions or concerns
Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner
Conduct investigations and recommend resolutions for disciplinary actions
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment
Lead the employee engagement action planning process with senior leadership
Communicate progress and updates on engagement plans to all stakeholders regularly
Develop initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Support performance management, including appraisals and improvement plans
Participate in HR projects to enhance HR services and programs
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment
Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position
Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill level
Preferred
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
Background in the manufacturing industry is a must
