Responsibilities
In partnership with the area Sales Manager, build and execute a sales and marketing strategy to capture new business at existing customers and identify new customers in a variety of new and emerging industries
Drive new sales opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and creating the right approach to reach them. Execute traditional and Go-To-Market sales strategies to capture market share, improve profit margin, and deliver untapped value for our customers
Initiate customer relationships and close business utilizing a proven sales process
Leverage our packaging capabilities as you work closely with our talented internal teams: design, pricing, customer service, estimating, production, procurement, and logistics – to design custom packaging solutions that meet our customers’ needs
Manage customer expectations and provide an excellent customer service experience
Continue to cultivate long-term customer relationships as you strive to meet their ongoing packaging needs
Monitor market, customer, and consumer trends that impact the business

Qualification
Required
High school diploma / GED equivalent from an accredited institution and 2+ related sales experience OR Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field in lieu of experience
Experience planning, implementing, and analyzing new sales strategies
Strong prospecting and business development skills
Excellent communication skills and superior resolution and decision-making skills
Results-oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by success
Ability to work independently and committed to meeting deadlines
Ability to travel locally outside of home office up to 75% of the time, occasional extended travel
Preferred
Previous corrugated and paper industry experience preferred
Experience in a manufacturing organization
