Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle for Chambers of Commerce. From prospecting and discovery through demo, close, and onboarding
Sell directly to Chamber decision-makers, including Presidents, CEOs, Executive Directors, and senior staff
Leverage your existing Chamber relationships and network to generate warm introductions and early pipeline
Translate common Chamber challenges (member engagement, retention, proving ROI, non-dues revenue) into clear, compelling solutions
Collaborate closely with the founders to refine Chamber-specific ICPs, messaging, pricing, and GTM strategy
Build repeatable outbound and inbound playbooks tailored to Chambers and associations
Identify partnership opportunities with state associations, regional Chamber groups, and Chamber service providers
Maintain a healthy pipeline, forecast revenue accurately, and manage deals through a consultative sales process
Provide direct feedback from the field to influence product roadmap and positioning for the Chamber market
Help lay the foundation for a scalable Chamber-focused sales motion and future sales team

Required

Direct experience with Chambers of Commerce, either: Former Chamber staff member (President, VP, Membership, Programs, Economic Development, etc.), or Sales professional who has sold products or services into Chambers, associations, or member-based organizations
Strong understanding of: How Chambers make buying decisions, Annual budgets, board influence, and approval cycles, Membership value propositions and non-dues revenue pressures
Existing network of Chamber leaders, executives, or senior staff that you can actively engage
2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or services preferably in a consultative, relationship-driven role
Comfortable owning the entire sales process in a startup environment with limited structure
Highly credible, professional communicator who can earn trust with senior community leaders
Self-directed, organized, and motivated by long sales cycles with meaningful deal sizes
Excited to help modernize an industry that is actively looking for innovation

Preferred

Prior work inside a Chamber of Commerce or state/regional Chamber association
Experience selling membership software, community platforms, sponsorships, or association services
Familiarity with Chamber KPIs: member engagement, retention, sponsorship revenue, and ROI reporting
Experience introducing new technology into traditional or relationship-driven organizations
Background in partnerships, sponsorship sales, or association consulting
