Account Executive - Cybersecurity & Data Services
Silpa Consulting LLC is a national IT consulting and staffing firm that empowers organizations through various services including cybersecurity and data analytics. They are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to drive revenue and logo acquisition for their cybersecurity and data services, managing the entire sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation.
Responsibilities
Own net-new business development and logo acquisition across the Houston market and beyond
Sell the full Silpa services portfolio across Cybersecurity (Silpa Secure) and Data Services (Silpa Data)
Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting and outbound, discovery and problem qualification, solution positioning and proposal development, contract negotiation and close
Engage senior stakeholders including CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, Heads of Data, and executive leadership
Position services in terms of business risk reduction, operational maturity, and revenue enablement
Collaborate with internal delivery teams for scoping and transition post-close
Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
Sell Cybersecurity Services including Offensive & Defensive Security, Managed Security & vCISO Services, Governance Risk & Compliance, Cloud & Infrastructure Security, Application & Product Security, and Cybersecurity Training
Sell Data Services including Master Data Management, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence, Data Integrity and Trust Frameworks, Data Governance & Quality Programs, and Data Enablement and Modernization initiatives
Qualification
Required
A proven hunter with a track record of closing net-new business
Comfortable selling complex, consultative services
Confident engaging executive-level buyers
Able to translate technical services into clear business outcomes
Self-directed, disciplined, and outcome-oriented
Motivated by uncapped upside and ownership of results
B2B services sales experience in cybersecurity, data, IT consulting, or adjacent fields
Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise buyers
Familiarity with security, data, or digital transformation concepts (hands-on technical expertise not required)
History of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
Authorized to work in the U.S
Located in or willing to relocate to the Houston, Texas area
Reliable internet connection and ability to travel for client meetings and events
Available during standard U.S. business hours
