Responsibilities
Oversee all truck inspections and partner with fleet managers to dispatch repairs
Monitor open issues in Fleetio and report out areas of concern
Coordinate with the operations team for inspection completion and follow-up
Work with field managers to coordinate vehicle pick up/tow
Maintain the ongoing preventive maintenance program
Track and report on project timelines and progress to execute on deadlines
Collaborate with Fleet Managers to resolve problems and create standard practices
Complete minor maintenance on trailers and fleet vehicles
Ensure all safety items are compliant on vehicles
Test the operation of vehicles
Replace lights on trucks and trailers
Install and troubleshoot Samsara units
Complete tire inspections and ensure compliance
Shuttle trucks from to from/route for repairs and preventative maintenance
Monitor recalls on fleet vehicles and partner with Fleet Managers to ensure timely resolution
Qualification
Required
Experience in vehicle maintenance
A self-starter attitude with close attention to detail
Experience utilizing a computer, sending emails, and completing data entry tasks
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record, ability to obtain a DOT medical examiner's certificate
High School Diploma or GED
At least 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
